Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard sure have packed a lot of life events into just a handful of months!

On Thursday, the pregnant 19 Kids and Counting star and her hubby returned to the very same restaurant where, less than six months ago, they celebrated the news of their engagement!

The mom-to-be, 23, Instagrammed a picture of herself and Derick, 25, having dinner at Table Mesa, a Latin restaurant in Bentonville, Ark. "Hadn't been there since the day we got engaged," she wrote. "Yummy food! #tablemesa #dinnerdate #derickdillard"

So much has happened since that fateful March day when Derick proposed! On June 21, less than three months after getting engaged, Jill and Derick wed. This was a big deal for the conservative Christian couple, who weren't intimate until vows were exchanged!

The pair quickly made up for lost time, though. In August, less than two months after saying "I do," Jill and Derick revealed they were expecting their first child!

Almost immediately, the couple went public with their joyous news. "Understanding that the majority of miscarriages happen within the first trimester, and believing that every life is precious no matter how young, we decided to share our joyful news as soon as we could," Jill said in an interview with The New York Post's Page Six.

So why such a rushed timeline? "We prayed a lot, prepared and really didn't see any reason to have a long courtship and engagement," Jill said. "Once we knew we wanted to get married, we didn't want to put off the wedding for a long time and provide a stumbling block for ourselves. We purposed to save ourselves physically for each other within marriage...so we had a short engagement period. We knew that we weren't going to prevent having children, so when we found out we were expecting within our first month of marriage, we were thrilled!"

"Baby Dilly" is due in March, and he or she will likely have plenty of siblings. "I have loved having lots of brothers and sisters and although Derick comes from a family with just one brother, both of us would love to have as many children as God will give us," Jill told Page Six. "We are also open to the possibility of adoption."

Who knows? The Dillards might be the new Duggars!
