Mark Wahlberg is as Boston proud as they come, so why did he leave New England Patriots team owner Robert Kraft hanging for a high-five during Sunday's game?

His focus was on the football field, that's why! Per USA Today, Marky Mark's inadvertent snub happened just after tight end Rob Gronkowski scored a touchdown against the Oakland Raiders.

The team owner even tapped the Ted star on the shoulder, trying to get his attention, but Mark was too busy applauding the Pats' success!

Of course, the 43-year-old sports nut would never knowingly shade a fellow Bostonian. He's ride or die for his hometown's sports teams—even when it comes to the pee-wee leagues!

During a 2012 interview with Conan O'Brien, he talked about wanting his kids to have the same team loyalty as their dad, even if that's not on their agenda!

"You know what's funny? My son just happened to randomly get picked for the Celtics [youth basketball team]," he said. "My wife called and said, 'Oh, you're going to be excited because he got picked on the Celtics,' and I was like, 'That's awesome.' But then she's like, 'We're going to put him on another team because one of his friends can't make it to practice on Wednesday.'"

This didn't fly with Mark! "I said, 'I don't give a s--t what he's gonna do. He's going to be on the Celtics and that's it!'"

Of course, the actor lets his kids root for whomever they want. "My kids, actually they consider themselves California [team fans]," he told Conan, "because they were born here."

Mark, though, will always be a ride or die Boston fan. The actor, who counts New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady as a personal friend, joked that he often struggles with the team's losses more than the athlete himself!

After the Patriots lost the 2012 Super Bowl to the New York Giants, Mark said Tom was "doing good," adding, "He handled it better than I did!"

Later, the quarterback jokingly alluded about Mark's snub on Facebook with a photoshopped pic of his own!
