In case you didn't already have a major crush on soccer stud Clint Dempsey...

At the launch party for EA Sports' FIFA 15 last night, the Seattle Sounders forward and 2014 World Cup super-star reminded us that he's more than just swift feet, cool tattoos and dreamy eyes. He also raps!

Dempsey, aka Deuce in the hip-hop world, joined Houston rapper XO onstage to, not just test out his chops in front of a live audience, but to help perform a song that they're putting out together on an album that Dempsey is also co-producing.

"I do this here 'cause I want to, I do this here 'cause I can," the guys traded lines of their new tune, "Hot Fire."

And, whether you were already a Dempsey fan or not, it was hot.

The forward and attacking midfielder, who played a key role in making the U.S. team's journey to the first knockout round of the 2014 World Cup as exciting as possible before their inevitable loss, released his first single as Deuce eight years ago.

"Hot Tread" featured Dempsey, XO and Big Hawk, and you may as well watch that video too right here. And the ubiquitous swoosh is not just aggressive product placement—the video was produced by Nike Soccer ahead of the 2006 World Cup.
