Well, here's one way to seriously impress your students.

A middle school math teacher has been making headlines today after she became the third person in history to win the $1 million prize on Wheel of Fortune Wednesday night.

Sarah Manchester, who hails from Silver Spring, Maryland, appeared on the television game show as part of the program's "Teacher Week" which kicked off the long-standing program's 32nd season.

And what a way to begin!

Manchester chose the million-dollar jackpot before successfully solving the perplexing puzzle, which she seemed to instantly decode once a few consonants were place on the board.

After learning that the phrase she guessed—"Loud Laughter"—was indeed correct, host Pat Sajak opened the envelope and said "Can you use a million dollars?" at which point the Maryland math teacher covered her mouth in awe and screamed.

Her family, including her husband, two kids and father, then rushed out from the audience to give her an enthusiastic embrace as confetti dropped from the ceiling.

"My biggest goal was I wanted to get to the bonus round and win something because I wanted to give them that chance to run out and hug and everyone dance like you see on the show," Machester said this morning during an appearance on Good Morning America.

While the family has yet to decide how they will spend their winnings, Manchester has been a loyal Wheel of Fortune fan for decades.

In fact, when she was growing up, she watched the show with her parents, and now she challenges her children with their own cash prizes for every puzzle they are able to solve before their mother.

Looks like being a long-time fan has fully paid off. Congrats!
