Pictures are really worth a thousand words.

Movie fans received quite the surprise Wednesday when fansites captured Adam Driver filming scenes for the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII film.

But while reports first suggested the Girls actor would be playing a top secret villain, the new images may tell a completely different story.

It appears Driver is wearing an orange Rebel flight suit symbolizing he's part of the good guys, aka the Rebel Alliance. Other photos also show Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie wearing another new Alliance costume.

Whatever his role will be, Driver can count on the support of his Girls co-star Lena Dunham. When news first broke that her close friend would be in the movie, she couldn't hide her enthusiasm.

"We're VERY proud of Adam Driver re: Star Wars," she tweeted. "He's about to rip a hole in da force. Is that a thing? I guess I should see those movies."

She added, "I confirm nothing bc I know nothing bc I'm on a plane with my dad! I just like Adam more than almost anyone, and JJ Abrams a whole lot too."
