And on Sunday, the 24-year-old Oscar winner stepped out in Malibu, Calif., with a bold statement about inner beauty emblazoned on her T-Shirt in the form of a quote from Roald Dahl's The Twits. It reads: "If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely."
Cute, right? J.Law, who is currently romancing Gwyneth Paltrow's ex Chris Martin, paired her poignant shirt with a pair of tiny Daisy Dukes and flip flops. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 star also pulled hair up in beneath a slouchy gray beanie, toted a hipster-chic woven purse and rocked pair of black Ray-Bans as she went about her day.
Clearly this young adult heroine (onscreen and off) knows what matters. In a recent Dior ad campaign video, she explains what it means to be a strong woman, saying, "A powerful woman is someone who exudes confidence and can be tough but fair and kind...And also knows how to get what she wants."
Jennifer's shown her own strength recently as nude photos of her and several other female celebrities were hacked and leaked to the public. Of course, because this was such "a flagrant violation of privacy," authorities were contacted, her rep confirmed to E! News with the promise to "prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence."
She knows how to get what she wants—and in this case, that's justice.
