Cara Delevingne isn't just fashion's It Girl—the film industry is clamoring over her, too!

E! News confirmed Tuesday the 22-year-old model (and now model-actress) was "in talks" to play the lead female character in the movie adaptation of Paper Towns. John Green, who wrote the popular young adult novel of the same name, as well as The Fault In Our Stars, confirmed the news on Twitter, too, writing, "Cara Delievigne's audition blew everyone away (including me!) and she understands Margo profoundly. I am so excited!" He later joked about misspelling her moniker, tweeting, "(I should probably learn how to spell Cara's surname at some point.)."

Paper Towns director Jake Schreier "seconded" John's rave reviews of Cara's audition, adding, "It was something special."

Cara, who recently made her acting debut in the short film Timeless, is clearly excited about her role as Margo. "Thank you so much guys!!" she tweeted. "I am so excited! Ahhhh! X"

According to Variety, who was first to report Cara's casting news, the British beauty will star in Paper Towns opposite Nat Wolff, who played Isaac in The Fault in Our Stars.

Cara will also be playing the role of a mermaid in Pan, which recently wrapped filming, and is reportedly in talks to star in the Beach Boys-inspired All Summer Long. She might even pop up in Ben Stiller's Zoolander 2! "I can't talk about it," she told E! News recently, adding, "I love that movie. I can quote almost all of it!"
