Kim Kardashian on Kanye West's Wheelchair Incident: "It's Frustrating That Something So Awesome Could be Clouded by Lies"

"Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair."

Kim Kardashian is defending her hubby Kanye West after a strange concert moment started making headlines.

The hip-hop star stopped the music and tried to coax the fans to stand up for him at his Sydney concert on Friday night, one of several Australian stops on his Yeezus tour. While most people complied, he then singled out a person who did not, which spurred boos from the crowd—and then became a big deal when the person ended up being in a wheelchair.

Well, Kim wanted to set the record straight, and posted a video from 'Ye's last Aussie show with the caption, "What an amazing Australian tour! Its frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media. Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair. #JustWantedEveryoneToHaveAFunNight #TheMediaTwistsThings."

"Is he in a wheelchair?", West said to the crowd.

"There's literally two people left," Kanye added during the incident, as several concertgoers start booing. "There's two people left. They don't want to stand up. This is the longest I've had to wait to do a song. It's unbelievable."

He then said, "Now, if he is in a wheelchair, it's fine" and soon continues his performance.

Kanye also addressed the media's take on the debacle during his concert in Brisbane last night.

After sarcastically noting that his shows are "such big media press news," Yeezy told the crowd, "You know it makes you just wanna reflect on the things that are a little more sensationalized than others, so I wanna take this platform, if I didn't have this last concert maybe I would have tweeted or something, maybe I would have put a statement with a publicist, but I can talk directly to you, my fans because they got this thing where they want the masses, the people who have never even heard one of my albums to somehow read a headline that reads negative and to think I'm a bad person or something."

He later added, "Take a step back for a second and look at this—I'm a married Christian man with a family. At my concerts I make sure everybody has good of a time as possible, so all this demonizing me, it ain't going to work after awhile.

"Pick a new target, pick a new target 'cause I'm not one of these dumb ass artists that you're used to. You come at me and I'm gonna take my platform and break this s--t down for real intelligent people every night so they can understand, then we get back to the music."
