The Mockingjay lives!

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 trailer premiered Monday, and Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) is as badass as ever. The young adult heroine is on a quest to save Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), and while she's got Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) by her side, that doesn't mean she wants to lead a revolution.

"I never wanted any of this," Katniss tells President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the beginning of the clip. "I never wanted to be in the Games. I just wanted to save my sister and keep Peeta alive."

"Miss Everdeen," he says ominously, "it's the things we love most that destroy us."

That, of course, doesn't deter Katniss! She fearlessly surges on, bow and arrow in tow, and gets some help (and hindrance) from some familiar faces, including Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Sam Claflin, Willow Shields, Woody Harrelson. The second-to-last film in the series, based on Suzanne Collins' young adult novels, also features later actor Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee.

The Hunger Games Mockingjay—Part 1 hits theaters Nov. 21.
