Lindsay Lohan has implied that during her court-ordered community service at the Los Angeles County Dept. of Coroner in late 2011 and early 2012, she was tasked with moving the late Whitney Houston's body. Calling her four-month stint "f'd up and inappropriate," the 28-year-old Speed-the-Plow actress tells the U.K. newspaper The Daily Telegraph that "a lot of other people were meant to do it, and they were like: 'No, they can't handle it. Lohan can.' It's different for me than it would be for other people—like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in L.A. and roll a body bag for Whitney Houston."
"I know it sounds really dark and strange, but I thought it would be a lot worse. I kind of regulated a lot of it. I'd tell people: 'You didn't fold that sheet properly,' because I'm OCD with folding," Lohan recalls.
The Mean Girls star's community service ended shortly afterward.
Weeks after Houston died in February 2012, Lohan appeared on NBC's Today to discuss her legal issues and career comeback plans, and Matt Lauer asked if the singer's death had been a wakeup call. After an uncomfortable pause, Lohan replied, "Not really. I don't want to go there. That's kind of a scary, morbid thing to discuss. But maybe when I went to jail—being in that place—that was really terrifying for me."
