None of it's true! A rep for the 42-year-old Grammy winner and coach for The Voice Australia tells E! News these romance rumors are "100 percent not true," and a rep for 31-year-old Thorpe says this "is a rumor which holds no truth, and there is no magazine deal."
Well, that makes things pretty clear on one front! That's not to say, though, that Martin, who split with longtime boyfriend Carlos González Abella in January, and Aussie athlete don't have mutual admiration and respect for one another.
This past July, for example, after years of media speculation, the Olympian revealed he was gay in an interview with U.K. talk show host Michael Parkinson on Australia's Channel Ten. Soon after, Ricky tweeted his support, writing, "Congrats @IanThorpe! Brave man! Happy for you! Millions appreciate what you've done! Proud of you! #SelfLove"
Martin, who is the proud father of 6-year-old twin boys Valentino and Matteo, came out back in 2010.
