Hope you're not sick of comic book shows on TV!

In addition to all the new (The Flash, Gotham, Constantine, iZombie, Agent Carter), returning (Arrow, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and in-development (Supergirl, Netflix's Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Defenders) comic book series, yet another one is currently being developed to add to the ever-growing list.

Warner Bros. TV is once again mining the DC comics brand with Titans, a pilot project that TNT is close to ordering.

According to Deadline, the series will focus on DC comics character Dick Grayson after he sheds his Batman sidekick alter-ego of Robin and becomes popular superhero Nightwing. In the pilot, he "emerges from the shadow of Batman to become Nightwing, the leader of a fearless band of new Super Heroes including Starfire, Raven and many others. Titans is a dramatic adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book titles ever."

This isn't the first time Titans characters will be seen on the small screen, since WBTV has already brought the characters to life on animated kids series Teen Titans from 2003-2006 and Teen Titans Go! on Cartoon Network, but TNT's Titans will age the characters from "teens" to "young adults," making the show more grown-up and mature.

As for who will star in Titans, might we suggest The Vampire Diaries star Steven R. McQueen, who has made it no secret that he wants to play Nightwing on Arrow? This way, he can star on his own show playing his favorite superhero instead of only donning the super suit for only a couple episodes. Hey, he's already got the muscles for it!
