Nice wheels.

After several unofficial on-set photo of the Batmobile circulated online Wednesday, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder decided to tweet "a real picture" of iconic vehicle. Snyder's trusted photographer Clay Enos also commented on the leaked images, tweeting, "iPhone photography is great but some things deserve more. (Nikon D800 ISO 500 24mm f/11 1/25th sec)."

A glimpse of the Batmobile was shown in May when Snyder provided the first look at Ben Affleck in costume as the Caped Crusader. It's the first new model since 2005's Batman Begins, the first in director Christopher Nolan's trilogy of films. Snyder's version of the vehicle apparently blends elements from Nolan's trilogy, like monster-truck wheels, with the sleek body of Tim Burton's Batman movie in 1989.

Snyder's movie has been filming in the Detroit area all summer. "I couldn't be happier with the way everything's going," he said a Comic-Con in July. "Talent, sets, special effects—it's going amazingly well."
