Britney Spears has been a busy bee!
In addition to performing at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, the pop princess has been recording new music and just debuted her first-ever intimates collection during New York Fashion Week. Spears spoke to E! News' Alicia Quarles at the launch, where she dished on her dream duets and her luxe lingerie line.
The "Perfume" singer, 32, recently posted a picture of herself in the recording studio—but a ninth album is still a ways away. "I'm taking things really slow," Spears admitted, adding that she's "progressively but slowly getting it together and trying to find my niche in what I want to do for this album."
She would love to work with Lorde and Iggy Azalea, but she also admires another platinum-selling pop star. "I love Katy Perry. I look up to her," Spears confessed of the "Birthday" singer. "I think she's great!"
Regarding Intimate Britney Spears, the singer revealed she had "been wanting" to design a collection for about a decade. "It's taken me a year and a half to put it together. It's very vintage, muted colors, really beautiful. I'm really passionate about it," the "Hold It Against Me" singer shared. "I actually was in a store 10 years ago in Europe—I think London—and I walked into the store and it had the most amazing, exquisite lingerie and sleepwear, and I was like, 'I want to do this! I have to do something like this!'"
"It's stuff that you can wear on your own, too. You don't have to be with your boyfriend to wear this kind of stuff. It's the kind of stuff that's so comfortable and so light. It's empowering for women, I think."
Best of all, buyers needn't look like Spears to look and feel great in the lingerie and sleepwear. "The line is for all shapes and sizes," the "Radar" singer told E! News. "A lot of the things are really big and flowy."
