Tommy Hilfiger Predicts Kendall Jenner Will Be a Big Star, Says She Differs From Other Models

Hilfiger gushes about the E! star, talks "She is great!"

Let's give credit where credit's due: Kendall Jenner is crushing it at New York Fashion Week.

And clearly, we're not the only ones who've taken note. Legendary designer Tommy Hilfiger opened up exclusively to E! News about the budding supermodel, predicting the E! darling will be a huge hit in the fashion world.

"She is great, just great. She is amazing," Hilfiger gushed. "She is a great model and she is a sweetheart. She is going to be a big star!"

Not to say that Kendall, who dropped her last name professionally last month, hasn't already made quite the splash in fashion. Among other big-name fashion ventures (as in covering Teen Vogue and strutting her stuff at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week), the 18-year-old walked in both the Diane von Furstenberg and Tommy Hilfiger shows this week. And after working first-hand with Kendall, Hilfiger had nothing but praise for the brunette beauty.

"She thanked me!" Hilfiger said. "Out of all the models only Kendall and Georgia May Jagger thanked me for putting them in the show. And you don't really always get that from lots of models and lots of superstars, so they were very appreciative, very polite and very nice."
