In the Internet age we live in, Jennifer Garner is one of the few high-profile celebs who does not have a Twitter account. And while she may be perfectly satisfied expressing herself in more than 140 characters, the 42-year-old star was happy to receive an on-set social media lesson from her much-younger Men, Women & Children co-stars Kaitlyn Dever and Ansel Elgort

"Jen Garner is baffled by SnapChat," Dever, 17, who plays the actress' daughter in the flick, told E! News on Friday at the junket for the upcoming film. "I've told her what SnapChat is quite a few times. She does not like the idea."

"She asked what the difference between Tumblr and Tinder was," Elgort, 20, added. "She was like, ‘I don't get it. What's the difference?'"

Additionally, the young thesps were asked if Garner ever gave any advice on set while they were filming the Jason Reitman-directed drama (who was also behind the camera for Juno), which also stars Judy Greer, Adam Sandler and Emma Thompson

"Not any specific advice," Dever dished. "Normally, I'm just paying attention to what these actors are doing because she [Garner] was so poised on set and just very professional. She was actually really always talking to Jason about what she could do different and how she could do things differently, what she could do to make it better, and I'll take that with me on my future films."

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck's missus recently stunned at the premiere of her new film on Saturday at the Toronto Film Festival. Wearing a body-hugging Stella McCartney gown, the mother of three flaunted her fab figure and wore her hair in soft beachy curls.

Based on Chad Kultgen's novel of the same name, Men, Women and Children examines the sexual frustrations that teenagers and adults often face while navigating the difficult waters of communicating on the Internet.

Garner plays an overprotective mother who monitors her daughter's every movie on social media in the forthcoming flick, which is due for release on Oct. 17.
