Jessica Biel is hitting up New Girl. Eva Longoria is hitting up Brooklyn Nine-Nine. And in the most shocking news of all time (it totally isn't), their new co-stars had ridiculously nice things to say about them at last night's Fox Fall Eco-Casino party.
"She's amazing," Zooey Deschanel said of Jessica, whom she will dance-battle at a wedding in the new season. "I mean talk about like, she's beautiful, she's really funny, she is so nice. She's a hell of a dancer. This girl I mean she could do anything. I would vote for her for president if she ran."
Hannah Simone and Lamorne Morris also revealed that this season of New Girl will very much bring the show back to what the fans loved in season one.
"We're back to the basics," Lamorne teased. "No one is in a relationship, so we are all free agents and we're back to the original New Girl where everyone's chaotic and kind of doing their own thing."
"It's the first time in a long time where everyone has been single," Hannah explained, "and everybody is in a new phase of their life. Winston's becoming a cop. I've stopped modeling."
As for Eva Longoria guest starring as a new love interest for Andy Samberg on Brooklyn, he tried to lead us to believe that there will be very little clothing.
"We just shot our first episode together," Samberg said. "It's on Fox, so there's just gonna be full on nudity. Only me though, she's going to be wearing a suit of armor and I'm going to be running around like Dennis Franz with my butt out."
