Did the short promo the CW previously released for The Vampire Diaries season six not satisfy you enough? Yeah, same here (we need our Delena/Stelena fix, stat!). That's why we're practically* (*actually) jumping for joy over the new trailer the network just debuted...it's over one minute long!

And not only is there a lot of new footage, but what is shown is actually pretty revealing. We see Elena (Nina Dobrev) refusing to move on from Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and feeding on people again, Stefan's (Paul Wesley) got a new romance (?!), Caroline's (Candice Accola) attempting to try to fix everything that's going wrong, Jeremy's (Steven R. McQueen) drinking heavily, and so much more. Without further ado, check it out below!

OK, raise your hand if all that Delena flashback goodness just broke your heart into a million tiny pieces. Elena isn't the only one having to deal anger over her "happily forever after" getting shattered...we were deeply invested in that relationship, too! Julie Plec, you evil, evil genius.

And now raise your hand if seeing that tiny little glimpse of an alive and well Alaric (Matt Davis) talking to Caroline made you smile. Can you believe that he's back on the show permanently this season?

But hold up, who is that girl that Stefan's kissing in bed?! Seems like the younger Salvatore is going to try to get over his grief about losing his brother by getting under someone new. It's not a good time to be a Stelena fan right now.

It's also not a good time to be a human in Mystic Falls, since even though the town is supposedly supernatural creature-free, something is terrorizing unassuming townsfolk. Is it a vampire that somehow got across the border without dying? Or something else entirely?

The Vampire Diaries season six premieres Thursday, Oct. 2, at 8 p.m. on the CW.
