Just one week after the 31-year-old singer announced she is expecting her first child with husband Mike Fisher, the American Idol winner debuted her tiny baby bump while performing the first of two sold-out shows in Highland Park, Ill., at the annual Ravinia outdoor music festival.
The mama-to-be was glowing in a floral Katherine Feiner jumpsuit (and couldn't help but flash her diamond wedding ring) as she belted out her hit tunes, wearing her long blond hair in soft curls while rocking glamorous stage makeup. Mike Fisher's missus showed off the first small signs of a baby bump, clearly unafraid to flaunt her growing belly.
Last week, Underwood announced via Instagram that she is pregnant with her first child, including her two precious pups in the pic sharing the happy news.
"In honor of 'Labor' Day, Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier…" she captioned a shot of the couple's two dogs sporting outfits that read "I'm going to be a BIG BROTHER" and "I'm going to be a BIG SISTER."
Pretty amazing, right?!
Following the reveal, the songstress was spotted grocery shopping at Whole Foods in Nashville over Labor Day weekend, where she satisfied her pregnancy cravings with a tasty treat—namely, some Ben & Jerry's vanilla ice cream.
According to an eyewitness, the country crooner, who has been married to Fisher since July 2010, was "looking very happy" while running errands around town.
She certainly has lots to smile about! Congrats again to the parents-to-be!
