The beloved star of The Nanny and Happily Divorced married Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai at their beach-front home Sunday afternoon, a source confirms to E! News.
Close friends and family members attended the intimate gathering where the sounds of Drescher's famous laugh were likely heard by all.
According to People magazine, who first broke the news, Drescher wore Badgley Mischka while the groom wore Ralph Lauren.
The couple first met over a year ago at an event hosted by the one and only Deepak Chopra.
"I was speaking on sages and scientists—in fact, talking about innovation and the fact that we need to more universally look at the models of innovation," Ayyadurai explained during a recent visit to HuffPost Live. "And Fran heard my talk and we fell in love, and we've been together since that talk."
And if you needed more proof that Drescher's man is quite the genius, look no further. Reports say he holds the copyright to the computer program known as "email." Others say he indeed came up with the term "email" when he was in high school in the late 1970s. Pretty impressive, right?
Earlier this summer, the couple looked madly in love as they shared a kiss while on vacation.
"Signing for now dolls," she Tweeted while displaying some PDA. "Be happy b well. B loving"
That shouldn't be a problem for this duo.
"Every day is a celebration with Fran," Ayyadurai said. "Every day is almost a romantic hangout with her. We're always laughing, always enjoying ourselves."
