Despite the tragic passing of her mother Joan Rivers, it's nice to hear that Melissa Rivers is finding some comfort in the outpouring of support from friends and fans.

Earlier today, just 24 hours since the 81-year-old comedy legend's passing, Melissa told reporters that she finds all the kind words and messages very "humbling" in the wake of her mother's death.

Since Joan's passing, it seems like there isn't one celeb who hasn't taken to social media to remember and honor the late Fashion Police host. Kelly Osbourne, Amy Poehler, Cher, Katy Perry, John Stamos, Joel McHale, Martha Stewart, Demi Lovato, Ryan Seacrest and Jimmy Kimmel are just a few of the stars who've tweeted heartfelt messages to Joan and Melissa.

Throughout Joan's hospitalization, which began last week, Melissa has been very candid about how grateful she is for the outpouring of support from the public. "My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world," Melissa said in a statement last Friday. "We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery."

She added a few days later, "Thank you for your continued love and support."

Even yesterday, when Melissa had to tragically announce her mother's passing, she found the strength to look towards the positive. "Cooper and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received from around the world," she said. "They have been heard and appreciated. My mother's greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon."
