Talk about being a good sport! The NFL's 95th season began Thursday, and to celebrate, Jimmy Kimmel Live! featured several football players and media personalities in its recurring "Mean Tweets" segment.

Terrell Owens, who was a wide receiver for six teams during his 15-year career in the NFL, kicked things off by reading this tweet: "The fact that 'Excessive Celebration.' Is a panelty psises me off. Thanks Terrell Owens you piece of donkey s--t.'"

ESPN broadcaster and former NFL player Keyshawn Johnson got a lick out of this nasty message: "Keyshawn Johnson must've ate the guys who used to cover him. Fat bastard." His reply? "Whatever."

One tweet mocked Michael Strahan's gap-toothed grin: "Michael Strahan's teeth are having a middle school dance, where the boys stand on one side of the room and the girls stand on the other." FOX Sports' Erin Andrews read a tweet: "Hopefully a ball to your temple will knock the stupid out of you."

Other participants included Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, San Fransico 49ers tight end Vernon Davis, San Diego Chargers linebacker Dwight Freeney, Tampa Bay Buacaneers safety Dashon Goldson, Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson, Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall, Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith, Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs and Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor.

Seattle Seahawks linebacker Malcolm Smith's mean tweet read: "Malcolm Smith you just won the 'who the f--k are you?' award." The athlete swiftly replied, "I'm the Super Bowl MVP. Who the f--k are you?"

A very good question, indeed.
