O'Brien said a lot of women on his staff pressured the host to ask him about his package. "I guess it's a thing that women are talking about," O'Brien said.
"You must address the flopping schlong!" Andy Richter demanded.
O'Brien pressured Theroux into revealing details. Was there enhancement? A clock? What is the deal with those scenes?!
"I'm trying to figure out what the classy way to answer this question is," Theroux said.
He admitted he wasn't aware those scenes had become "a thing." There are two main jogging scenes in The Leftovers, one in the pilot and one in the second to last episode of the season. "When I went to get my wardrobe for the second jogging scene way later, there was my jogging pants and two pairs of underwear in the dressing room," he said. "I was like, ‘Oh, I can clearly choose between two...' and they were like, ‘No, they want you to wear them both.'"
As O'Brien pointed out, the GIF set you've been looking at nonstop is Theroux in TWO pairs of underwear.
The Leftovers airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on HBO.
