On Wednesday, three days after tying the knot at the Hotel Baker in St. Charles, near Chicago, the couple tweeted their first selfie ever as a married couple!
The bride, 41, and groom, 45, posted the same sweet snap, showing the New Kids on the Block singer planting a kiss on the former View co-host's hand. They tweeted the pic from their individual accounts at the same time, both writing,"Mr & Mrs Wahlberg, checking in from heaven. Thank you for all of your well wishes. #happy"
Newlyweds Jenny and Donnie might be tweeting in sync now, but they actually had a bit of a whirlwind courtship. They made their red carpet debut as a couple in August 2013, and by April 2014, they were announcing their engagement!
So how did they know in a matter of months they were meant to be together? "We both trusted the process of dating, and we didn't let the stories take over," Jenny told E! News back in May.
"I think a lot of times we get caught up in the fantasy of who we think somebody is, and instead we trusted getting to know who each other are for real. So we paid attention to each other, we didn't make up things and Google each other. We just kind of trusted the spirit and still enjoyed the abs at the same time."
Well, from the looks of things, that worked out well!
