Get ready fashion die-hards—just one more day until NYFW begins! And to start things off right, we're taking you behind-the-scenes with Creatures of the Wind design duo Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters.

E!'s own Alicia Quarles and Women's Wear Daily's executive editor Bridget Foley teamed up this morning to talk all things fashion with the hot designers on Google+ Hangout. So what can we expected to see on the runway?

"The collection's called Fata Morgana, which is a type of superior mirage that causes things on the horizon to be flipped and float above the skyline," Peters dished. "For us it was about the idea of the things beyond our horizon flipped, so it's really about the fantasy of travel. It's kind of about nowhere but the present, the idea of the distant."

After snagging their first CFDA with the Swarovski Award for Womenswear, you might suspect that Gabier and Peters are more nervous than ever to show their new collection. But that's not the case.

"It actually feels like oddly less pressure in a way," Gabier revealed. "There's a validation that comes with winning an award like that, and in a way I think it kind of allowed us to relax."
