Lena Dunham and Emma Watson are speaking out in support of actresses like Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who were the targets of a nude photo leak scandal over the weekend.
Following the celeb hackers' release of the racy NSFW pics, Dunham posted a long and passionate rant on Twitter about the invasion of privacy.
"The way in which you share your body must be a CHOICE. Support these women and do not look at these pictures," the Girls star wrote, followed by, "Remember, when you look at these pictures you are violating these women again and again. It's not okay."
"Seriously, do not forget that the person who stole these pictures and leaked them is not a hacker: they're a sex offender," Dunham went on. "Also sad I can't make one joke about having shown my tits on purpose without a massive qualitative tit debate. Some of y'all, dang."
Remember, when you look at these pictures you are violating these women again and again. It's not okay.

Watson also took to Twitter, writing, "Even worse than seeing women's privacy violated on social media is reading the accompanying comments that show such a lack of empathy."
Female stars weren't the only ones ranting. Seth Rogen shared, "Posting pics hacked from someone's cell phone is really no different than selling stolen merchandise. I obviously am not comparing women to merchandise. Just legally speaking, it shouldn't be tolerated to repost stolen pics."
Meanwhile, Anna Kendrick found a little bit of humor in the scandal. She shared a pic of a text message from her brother Michael Kendrick that read, "I have never been happier to not see your name on a list." She replied, "Don't worry bro, it would just be photos of food and other people's dogs anyway."
