Louise Roe happens to be one of our all-time favorite fashionistas, so when we learned that she was going to be covering New York Fashion Week, of course we wanted to get all the scoop!

We got a sneak peek of how Louise prepares for one of the biggest  weeks in Fashion as she breaks down what to pack, her favorite staple pieces and some of her most memorable #NYFW run-ins! Spoiler alert: It's a 90s heartthrob who was known for her crop tops. Think you know? Read on for the answer!

How many outfits did you bring for NYFW?

About 12. Plus a few back-ups! My case is always so overweight it's embarrassing at check-in.

What outfit are you saving for NYFW and can't wait to wear?

A killer printed pencil skirt by Prabal Gurung, and white leopard shoes by Australian brand Senso. It's a lot of print, we'll see if it works!

What's the no. 1 party you're looking forward to?

In Style's 50th anniversary. That's going to be a biggie.

What's the no. 1 show you're looking forward to seeing?

Monique L'Huillier. She's such a wonderful woman, and I just wore one of her gowns to the Emmys. So I'll have my eyes peeled for something to wear next awards season.

How many shows do you average a day?

Usually two, when I'm reporting for Tresemme.

What's your afternoon pick me up?

An iced latte with whole milk.

Who is the coolest person you've met during NYFW?

Jenna Lyons, the stylish head of J Crew - is an absolute icon of mine and I told her so! And I sat next to Tiffany Amber Thiesson from Saved by the Bell last season, I mean - it's Kelly Kapowski!!

What's your favorite thing about NYFW?

Getting excited about all the new trends, and getting to see my best mate from London, Tanya, who is a fashion editor and flies over. So we always head out for margaritas.

What trends are you seeing? What trends do you predict?

For Fall, a lot of burgundy and oxblood; rich fabrics like velvet and lace; boots cut-out at the ankle; and really beautiful, ornate prints.

What are you NYFW essentials?

Some cute flats for when heels get too much, I like Chatelles loafers a lot, shades by Taylor Morris, a travel size can of Tresemme dry shampoo - in my handbag all day for touch-ups, and lots of stackable jewelry by Fallon.
