New year, new slogan. AMC released new key art for The Walking Dead season five, featuring a very sweaty Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) with the tagline "Hunt or Be Hunted."

"From the opening tease in the premiere onward, season five is without question the most ambitious and satisfying season this amazing team has ever crafted," Charlie Collier, AMC president, said in a statement when the fifth season trailer came out. "In the zombie apocalypse, event television is alive and well, and I am proud to acknowledge that this uniquely talented writing staff, production team and cast have once again raised the bar (and the crossbow)."

The show, which has continuously been a ratings hit in the 18-49 demographic, returns for a fifth season on Oct. 12 at 9 p.m. on AMC. Season four ended with Rick and Co. trapped in a train car by the people of Terminus. Much of the second half of the fourth season featured the survivors on the road to Terminus. Once they got there? Well, things weren't exactly what they seemed.

It's safe to say they get out of the train car, but at what cost? Steven Yeun, Glenn on The Walking Dead, told E! News that the season-five premiere may be too extreme for TV.

"I remember a couple of scenes I would look over at what was going on in the scene and I would be like, 'What the eff? What are we doing? How is this legal?' It's grounded and real, too; it's not like torture or gore for no reason," Yeun told E! News earlier this summer about the season-five premiere. "It's literally, that is what would happen and we are trying to show it. It would not work on network television, let me tell you that."

Buckle up!
