Underwood's rep confirms to E! News that the American Idol winner and "Before He Cheats" singer is expecting her first child with husband, Mike Fisher.
"In honor of "Labor" Day, Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement," she captioned on Instagram. "Their parents couldn't be happier…"
In the photo, Underwood's dogs are sporting adorable outfits that read "I'm going to be a BIG BROTHER" and "I'm going to be a BIG SISTER."

Last year, the talented country singer opened up about having kids of her own.
"I don't feel old enough to have kids," she told Marie Claire magazine. "I know I am mature. But being responsible for another human?"
Luckily, Underwood has an amazing husband always there to support her.
"Communication, trust, and Skype are key," the mom-to-be told Ladies Home Journal when asked about the secret to her relationship.They have been married since July 2010.
