Lupe Fiasco, Jennifer Hudson and Common will be performing live on the Sept. 5 special, streaming online and airing on all major broadcast networks and numerous cable networks as well, including E!, and you can get a preview of "Remission," the poignant tune they'll be performing live, right here.
As usual, Hudson belts her heart out, and there's a hell of a cause to go with her intense tune.
The trio join a packed lineup of major boldface names who will either be appearing in person or pretaping segments to air during the one-hour, commercial-free special. (ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC are each donating an hour of ad-free time.)
