Nicole Kidman is opening up about her happy marriage to Keith Urban.

Although the cute couple married when she was 39 and he was 38, the Oscar winner says she's glad to have found true love.

"Keith always says, ‘We're lucky we met late in life. The sadness of that is we can't have six kids together, but the greatness of that is [we are done] with all the other stuff, so now we are totally present for this.' That's a great thing to hear from a man," Kidman tells The Edit.

The lovebirds recently celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary during one of Urban's concerts and he gave his wife a loving shout-out from the stage. "Eight years, baby girl," Urban said. "This song is for you. I love you so much."

"I had two girlfriends sitting with me and they were like, ‘Bitch!'" Kidman laughed of the sweet moment. "I went, ‘Hey! I've been to hell and back!'"

Perhaps Kidman is talking about her divorce from first husband Tom Cruise back in 2001. "Now I have the ability to go, ‘Okay, this too shall pass,'" Kidman says of her hard times. "Sometimes you've just got to navigate through pain and depression. Maybe you have a down day, but life is contrast. I'd rather feel it and know it."

As for how Kidman and Urban spend time together when their not busy working, she dished, "We watch America's Funniest Home Videos and reruns of The Brady Bunch, that's very much our life."
