One word: bombshell!

Maria Menounos is lending her rock-hard bod to the October cover of Shape magazine.  But it's not just the E! star's killer bod that's got us buzzing—it's her revealing admission about growing her family.

"I'm finally ready to have children," Menounos revealed to Shape.

"For years I was terrified of having kids. I was afraid I'd love them so much, I'd stop working completely," Menounos said. "That all changed after I took a seminar with [motivational speaker] Tony Robbins. It was an absolutely game-changing, life-altering experience. I had a profound, hysterical crying moment where I realized I was going to miss out on this enormous amount of love, all because of fear.

The Untold with Maria Menounos host also opened up about her go-to fitness tips that keep her svelte figure toned. And for the 36-year-old, it all starts with a simple choice.

"Last year, right after the holidays, I was going through a difficult time, and I noticed my weight started creeping up beyond my normal 5-pound margin," Menounos explained. "I was like, ‘Oh, hell no! I am not going to gain back those 40 pounds!' I told myself that fitting into my jeans and feeling healthy was more important than drinking a strawberry daiquiri."

But with that in mind, the star isn't a fan of the word 'diet.' And as for the occasional indulgence, well, that's just part of the process.

"My goal is to be healthy, not skinny—and the best way to achieve that is to not diet," Menounos said. "You're just setting yourself up for failure when you're in that mindset. The moment you cave and have something you're not supposed to eat, you'll want to quit the whole plan."
