Shonda Rhimes might literally be taking over the world – or at least the world of television.

While she already has Thursday night taken care of with Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and new series How to Get Away With Murder premiering September 25 on ABC, she will also be heading over to Tuesday for a brief stint on The Mindy Project, E! News has confirmed.

Of course, since Shonda Rhimes is involved, there aren't a lot of details to be had, but as TV Line first reported, we do know she will be playing herself and the episode will air later this fall. How Rhimes finds time – with three shows about to be on the air – to guest star on other shows, we may never know.

Rhimes is a self-proclaimed fan of the Fox comedy, and often tweets her support to Mindy Kaling

This season of The Mindy Project was already going to be amazing, with Rhea Perlman set to play Danny's mom, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Rob McElhenny appearing in the season premiere as Morgan's "hot but sleazy" cousin. Adding Rhimes to the roster is just icing on the cake as far as we're concerned.

The Mindy Project returns to Fox at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16.
