New York Fashion Week is almost upon us, and soon we'll be able to revel in all the gorgeous runway looks from the spring 2015 collections.
But until then, we're tiding ourselves over and curbing our excitement with a little NYFW predictions. Designers will show their spring wares this September, meaning the runways will be filled with bright and joyful colors.
So which hues will be the hottest? We're looking into our crystal ball and predicting which shades have the best chance of ruling the runway. So take a look at colorful designs from past seasons that we think will be major during this Fashion Week.
Our bet? There will be a mix of bold colors and softer pastels. But keep reading to see all our color predictions.
FLAMINGO PINK
There's nothing more attention-grabbing that an electric shade of flamingo pink. This hue embodies spring and will likely be huge on the runway—especially with designers who embrace color.
ICE BLUE
Expect to see many shades of blue (cobalt, navy and more), but we have a feeling that cool ice blue will also be popping up in shows. This shade is soft but eye-catching. Think Cinderella's ball gown.
BLACK & WHITE
With so much color in the spring collections, it's always refreshing to see black and white on the runway. This look is timeless and spans across all seasons.
LEMON YELLOW
Lemon yellow is the perfect pop of color for spring, and it has such an optimistic vibe. We predict designers will incorporate this sunny color in their designs whether it's in the form of a day dress or a light jacket.
BRIGHT ORANGE
This used to be one of those colors that was considered difficult to pull off, but not anymore. This citrusy hue is having a moment, and we predict it'll be all over the runways. Orange you glad?
