The Orange Is the New Black star, who lost the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series award to co-star Uzo Aduba on Aug. 16, is reportedly dating the Late Night With Seth Meyers bandleader. Reps for the Netflix star, 35, and the twice-wed actor, 47, have not responded to requests for comment.
The alleged coupling was revealed over the weekend. An eyewitness told Us Weekly that Lyonne and Armisen "were very flirty and talking very closely" at the Variety and Women in Film Emmy Nominee Celebration Saturday. That same night, the Saturday Night Live alum took Lyonne to Lorne Michaels' pre-Emmys bash at Tower Bar, where they mingled with fellow celebrity guests Jeff Goldblum, Jon Hamm, Anna Kendrick and Seth Meyers. "Fred and Natasha were together all night at Lorne's party," a source told The New York Post's Page Six. "People were surprised, but they appear to be a couple."
When Lyonne walked the red carpet at Monday's Emmys, she admitted to E!'s Ross Mathews, "This is not a G-rated text message I'm sending right now." She didn't reveal who the recipient was, however.
Per People, they "shared kisses and were very cozy together" at Netflix's Emmys afterparty.
Portlandia's Armisen was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards; he lost to Modern Family's Ty Burrell. Meanwhile, Orange Is the New Black was honored in five categories, including Outstanding Comedy Series. It failed to take home any awards.
Armisen was most recently linked to SNL cast member Abby Elliott after his brief marriage to Elisabeth Moss. In March, the Mad Men star called their marriage "extremely traumatic and awful and horrible."
