Are you doing OK, Liars?
We knew something was coming, but we didn't know it was going to hurt so bad. Tonight, we had to say goodbye to the one and only Mona Vanderwaal (Janel Parrish) after she was brutally murdered by A (presumably).
The episode ended – as so many Pretty Little Liars episodes do – with police informing a crowd that despite the fact that they had not found a body, the amount of blood found in Mona's house suggested that there was no way she could still be alive.
Before we even had time to think to ourselves that maybe there was still hope for the girl we had just started to really like, we saw Mona's body staring creepily out at us from inside the trunk of a car. A then placed a stolen baby Jesus next to the body, for some reason, and Pretty Little Liars was over for the summer.
Fortunately, we only have to wait a couple of months for more, because the liars will be back for an all new Halloween special on October 21.
