Unlike many Hollywood stars who have had to adjust to the spotlight, Kylie Jenner has grown up under the watchful public eye, which has been both a blessing and a curse for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.
Looking stunning in a floral white dress teamed with trendy jewelry while flaunting her short blue 'do, the 17-year-old beauty graces the cover of Girlfriend magazine and opens up about being a part of the world's most famous family.
"I don't remember a time when there weren't cameras around, because we started this when I was nine, so I feel like I was born into it almost," the E! star tells the publication.
"Sometimes we don't realize how big we've gotten until we go out for lunch and everyone is asking for pictures or we get swarmed by the paparazzi and then I'm like, ‘Whoa! I didn't know this many people liked me,'" she added (although her over 11 million Instagram followers should be some sort of indication).
Still, despite the success she has found thanks to her siblings, Jenner admits it can be difficult to face the endless criticism from the public.
"I hate to complain but there's no room for mistakes, kind of," she said. "And if you make a mistake, everyone's hearing about it, it's on every blog. It sucks being judged by the world instead of just your close friends or family."
Her solution to steering clear of the backlash? Simply ignore the tabloids.
"I used to definitely read all the stories about us, but now we just try to not read any of that stuff, it's just totally spun out of proportion, most of it," the brunette stunner explained.
And of course, having a solid support system is ultimately what keeps the young star grounded.
"My family is so big so I always have someone to hang out with and talk to," she shared, clearly grateful for her loved ones. "I have a great support group and there's always someone around"
