Which trends ruled the red carpet? Let's discuss!

Now that we've had time to soak in all the looks that graced the red carpet during the 2014 Emmy Awards, certain trends have surfaced to the top and proved to reign supreme.

So, which styles were the most popular with tonight's A-listers? We noticed right away that red gowns were on fire this evening, with Claire Danes, Heidi Klum and E!'s own Giuliana Rancic all opting for the flaming hue.

White column gowns were also just as hot as the red dresses. Celebs like Kristen Wiig, Julianne Hough and Padma Lakshmi all stepped out in crisp, clean looks.

It's all about the details, so we noticed an accessories trend cropping up: ear cuffs. January Jones went for the trend, Michelle Dockery rocked a cuff by Ana Khouri provided by LoveGold, and Taylor Schilling wore a Forevermark cuff earring.

On the beauty front, there weren't as many statement nails as there have been in past years, but we did see a handful of celebs go for pretty pink manicures: Zooey Deschanel and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting were two of our favorites.
