Nick Jonas doesn't consider himself "a really jealous, intense guy"—but his next single, "Jealous," still comes from the heart.

During the all-grown-up JoBro's visit to E! News Friday, Catt Sadler asked him if his latest tune, "Chains," was about any one girl.

"I didn't write this one, so I can't necessarily say it is," Nick, who's been dating former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo for about a year, told Catt and Terrence Jenkins.

But "the next one is, it's called 'Jealous' and it's about when someone is checkin' out your girl and you're out, and it's that whole experience I think a lot of men relate to but don't actually talk about," he divulged.

You mean someone has actually tried to hit on Nick Jonas' girl while he's right there?

"There have been a few instances where I'll see somebody do something when I'm with my girl, and I'm like, ‘What? That is not the time or the place,'" the 21-year-old revealed. "I've been training for this show, so now I really know how to take care of things and I know how to puff my chest a bit more than I was before."

He was talking, of course, about Kingdom, the reason why Nick was walking around looking buffer than ever this year. He put on 15 pounds of muscle to play a tough-as-nails UFC fighter in the DirecTV drama, premiering Oct. 8, but he admits that he's since lost about 10.

"It was a little intense," he said of being so, er, big. "My brothers made fun of me a lot because I didn't really have any clothes that were fitting at a certain point."

Not that we're "Jealous" of Olivia Culpo or anything...

The beauty steaming up the "Chains" video with Nick, however, is Sean Penn and Robin Wright's model daughter, Dylan Penn.

Watch his full interview with Terrence and Catt to hear about what he really thought about working with Dylan, his recent project with Demi Lovato and how he ended up playing an ultimate fighter in Kingdom.
