Big butts don't lie—but they do break records.

Nicki Minaj's viral "Anaconda" music video has broken the record for the most views in 24 hours, snagging the top spot from Miley Cyrus, who previously held the record for her single "Wrecking Ball" (coincidentally, the two will be seated next to each other at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards and Cyrus even Photoshopped herself on the artwork for Minaj's single).

Music video website Vevo announced the news via Twitter today, revealing that the "Anaconda" music video has been viewed 19.6 million times in just 24 hours when compared to Cyrus' previous record of 12.3 million video views.

Clearly, Minaj was ecstatic upon hearing the news, taking to Twitter to share her excitement in addition to Instagramming a screen grab of one of Vevo's tweets, which cleverly included the phrase "A$$mazing."

Safe to say the rapper is a solid ass-et for the site.

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old beauty recently opened up about her eyebrow-raising video in an interview with ABC News. The racy clip, which has been the talk of the tabloids, sees the singer's famous backside on full display as her dancers twerk up a storm before Nicki gives Drake a super-sexy lap dance (in case you haven't heard, the track samples Sir Mix-a-Lot's 1992 hit "Baby Got Back" and celebrates all bootylicious babes).

"I wanted to reinstate something. Because of the shift in pop culture, even hip-hop men are really glorifying the less curvy body," the recording artists explained. "I wanted to say, ‘Hey ladies, you're beautiful.' Hopefully, this changes things and maybe it won't change things, but I love it."

Fans of the singer will be treated to not just one but two performances by Minaj at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, where the "Starships" beauty will perform the hit "Bang Bang"—Jessie J's track on which she is featured along with Ariana Grande—as well as "Anaconda."

Minaj has remained tight-lipped on her both performances thus far, simply telling ABC, "I remember being little and watching the TV to see who was performing on the VMAs."

In addition to the upcoming awards show, the rapper is also working on a new album, which is due out later this year.

"I think having more experiences and adding that with being a writer, it makes just for a great album," she said. "I'm making sure to give people what they love and at the same time, I'm going to push the envelope."

Can't wait to see what's more eyebrow-raising than a bright pink G-string

Good luck on Sunday, Nicki!
