You did it!
After Fox announced that it would release the first episode of Red Band Society—the network's newest series and our new obsession—early if fans reached a charity goal set one week ago, you fans took up the challenge with flying colors.
As E! News previously revealed, every time someone shared Red Band Society videos, photos, GIFs and more from myredbandsociety.com on social media over the past week, Fox donated $1 to charity. If the network reached a $100,000 donation goal, then the first episode of Red Band Society would be unlocked for fans to watch...and it is, but you better hurry. The episode is only available for 100 hours!
Beginning today, you can watch the episode above or on FOX On Demand for customers of AT&T U-verse, Bright House Networks, Cablevision, Charter, Cox, Mediacom, Suddenlink, Time Warner Cable, Verizon FiOS, XFINITY and many more cable providers, as well as online at Hulu.com, fox.com and FOX NOW. But you've only got until Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. ET to watch, and trust us, you want to watch. Also, stock up on tissues, because Red Band Society stars Octavia Spencer as a nurse working at the pediatric ward of Ocean Park Hospital, and the sick kids are totally going to steal your heart (and the show!).
All the money raised during the "Red Band Society: Banding Together For Good" campaign will support five charities, including Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Ryan Seacrest Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Teen Cancer America and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. So major props go out to all you fans who took to social media to share as much as you could!
Red Band Society officially premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
