The Oscar winner, looking fit and utterly fabulous in a teeny bikini, today joined the growing-by-the-minute list of celebs who have taken the Ice Bucket Challenge and donated to the ALS Association. Earlier this week the foundation, which is striving to find a cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's disease, announced that it had received more than $15 million in donations since July 29, when the #ALSIceBucketChallenge started catching fire online.
As befitting an ecologically minded star such as herself, Paltrow made sure that the grass got soaked (nearly) as much as she did.
"challenge accepted @tracyandersonmethod @chefjoseandres @marthastewart," she captioned the Instagram video featuring her IBC, which ended in squeals and a mad dash away from the guy wielding the bucket. "NOW I challenge @camerondiaz Chris Martin and @stellamccartney to the #ALSicebucketchallenge. join me in donating to alsa.org."
Also today, Nick Jonas (wearing a shirt, boo), Ed Westwick (who aimed super-high and nominated Queen Elizabeth II) and Patti Stanger (who took a page from the Charlie Sheen playbook and doused herself with cash) have also particpated. Check 'em all out right here!
