You'd think the real James Bond could defeat anyone at his own game, but this just wasn't the case for Pierce Brosnan!

On Tuesday's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Die Another Day star (who played the famed spy in four films between 1995 and 2002) was challenged to play Nintendo 64 classic GoldenEye 007 against the late-night host. Pierce, who now plays an ex-via operative in his latest flick The November Man, reluctantly agreed.

He admitted from the get-go, though, he wasn't the best gamer, telling Jimmy Fallon, "I was no good at it. I played it once and shot myself in the foot!"

Pierce wasn't lying, but that didn't stop Jimmy from gushing to the 61-year-old hunk that he had "no idea how excited I am about this!" The Tonight Show host even re-explained the game controller to his opponent before they jumped into action.

From there, though, it didn't take long before Jimmy was victorious over Pierce, who exclaimed jokingly, "I thought you liked me!"

"No," Jimmy shot back, "I love you!"

The feeling was mutual, because Pierce replied, "I love you, too!"

Gotta love a Bond bromance! But playing the international spy wasn't always as cool as it seemed. In fact, Pierce had some embarrassing moments back when he was filming for the flicks—including one particularly humbling experience on the ski slopes!
