Ready to feel old? Today is Saved by the Bell's 25th anniversary!

Yeah, it's been 25 years since the show first premiered. Told you that you'd feel old.

In honor of one of our all-time favorite TV shows ever turning a quarter century, we decided to take a look back at the series and wax nostalgic about our friends at Bayside High...and that's when we realized, some of the storylines that occurred on the show were actually pretty crazy.

Seriously, remember Jessie's epic caffeine pill freakout? That's in one of the classic SBTB episodes, but if you really think about, that whole storyline was just downright bananas.

So to celebrate SBTB's 25th anniversary, we're counting down the Top 11 of the craziest storylines ever featured on the show. Take a time out for a walk down memory lane with us, won't you?

NBC

11. The Mamas and the Papas (season one, episode 12)

Remember when—for a school project, of all things—Zack and Kelly, Slater and Jessie, and Screech and Lisa had to get "fake married" to see all the challenges that married life might bring? They literally had to wear jerseys that said "husband" and "wife" on them! We don't remember ever having to marry a classmate for a grade, do you?

NBC

10. No Hope With Dope (season three, episode 21)

Remember that time the gang decided to film an anti-drug PSA about the dangers of marijuana...and then found out their star was actually a huge pothead? Oops!

NBC

9. The Zack Tapes (season one, episode 14)

Remember when Zack used subliminal messaging to control all of Bayside High just to try to get a date with Kelly? Totally normal, right?

NBC

8. The Gift (season one, episode three)

Usually getting hit by lightning means instant death, but remember that time Screech got hit by lightning and realized he could see into the future? This is an actual storyline that happened, we swear.

NBC

7. Screech's Woman (season one, episode five)

Who could forget the time when Zack made up a fake woman, Bambi, to romance Screech...and then had to dress up as Bambi to keep up the ruse? Um, that's what friends are for?

NBC

6. Pipe Dreams (season three, episode 11)

Remember when Zack and the gang actually convinced their school not to drill for oil on campus, just by dumping oil on a model of the school to show how messy oil is? That's just good business, right?

NBC

5. Drinking and Driving (season four, episode 10)

Remember that time when things got really serious and SBTB tackled drunk driving? Zack drunkenly crashed Lisa's mom's car and got a DUI...but everyone promptly forgot about it as soon as the next episode came around!

NBC

4. The Bayside Triangle (season four, episode five)

And then there was that time when Screech forgot to take his meds and had a total meltdown, attacking Zack because he caught Zack hooking up with Lisa. Again, we say, that's what friends are for?

NBC

3. Close Encounters of the Nerd Kind (season two, episode 12)

Remember when Screech was almost hauled away by the U.S. government after Zack and Slater got him to dress up as an alien, just to get a reward from a tabloid magazine? The government officials literally thought Screech was an alien. We're not making this up. Scout's honor.

NBC

2. Cream for a Day (season one, episode eight)

Of course Kelly was nominated for Homecoming Queen. But remember the real reason she won? Her face got turned maroon thanks to Screech's pimple cream, but since that's the school color, she still totally won! Sure?

NBC

1. Jessie's Song (season two, episode nine)

Better known as the caffeine pills episode, of course this storyline is the number one craziest storyline ever. We will never, ever forget Jessie screaming, "I'm so excited! I'm so excited! I'm so...scared!" Stay away from caffeine pills, kids!
