All the money raised during the "Red Band Society: Banding Together For Good" campaign will support five charities, including Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Ryan Seacrest Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Teen Cancer America and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. And after you watch Red Band Society when it premieres this fall, you'll be even happier about all the money raised, because the kids on the show that deal with facing life-threatening illnesses while growing up and bonding in the hospital are so heartbreaking and sweet that it hurts. Yeah, prepare for all of the tears, people.
But the amazing promotion doesn't just end there. If a fan logs in via Facebook, he/she also will receive one point toward a place on the myredbandsociety.com leaderboard, and every time a friend clicks on the shared link, that fan will get one more point and $1 more goes to charity!
