Ciara didn't seem put off by any questions about Future yesterday!
The singer, talking to E! News in her first interview since she and the rapper welcomed a son—also named Future—in May, was in good spirits and sounded positive while talking about her fiancé.
But Us Weekly ended up reporting today that Ciara and Future have split up, citing sources that it was "game over" for the couple, barely three months since the birth of their baby.
A rep for Ciara declined to comment, but watch the clip here to see the singer-actress and Degree spokeswoman talk about motherhood and how Future (aka Nayvadius Wilburn) helps out with parenting duties despite their "crazy schedules."
As for being a mom, the 28-year-old "Body Party" singer calls it "the most beautiful experience...I feel like my son has been a gift from God and I'm enjoying every bit of it."
Their little boy, Future Zahir Wilburn, was born on May 19, Ciara's first child and big Future's fourth.
The Honest artist popped the question last October during Ciara's 28th birthday celebration after about a year of dating. The bride-to-be proudly showed off her diamond ring to E! News at an event a couple weeks later and revealed that they had set a wedding date—but she didn't spill exactly when, of course.
Ciara is also on the cover of the August/September issue of Brides, in which she calls Future "my best friend in the world, my partner."
"For my wedding, I'm going to do elegance with a little edge," she told the mag.
Don't miss the rest of Ciara's first interview since becoming a mom, exclusively on E! News Thursday at 7 p.m. & 11:30 p.m.
