Just days after Dwayne Johnson's mother, Ata, was involved in a head-on collision with a drunk driver, the actor shared that his mother is bound to make a full recovery.
The Rock posted a photo of himself with his mother leaving the hospital earlier today, and both of their smiles seem to say it all.
"Takin' mama home. Banged up, but she's a tough one and will make a full recovery. Grateful to see her smile," he wrote to his fans.
"And thank you guys for all the prayers, love and well wishes. #GratitudeAndBearHugs #ChoicesMatter #100PercentPreventable #DontDrinkAndDrive."
Johnson's cousin, WWE NXT Diva Lina Fanene, was also involved in the terrifying ordeal.
Over the weekend, Johnson shared the scary news with a photo from the crash site, saying, "My mom & cousin @linafanene were struck head on by a drunk driver this week - they lived. First reaction is to find the person who did this and do unrelenting harm to them. But then you realize the most important thing is my family lived thru this and we can hug each other that much tighter these days."
He continued, "Hug your own family tighter today and be grateful you can tell them you love them. #BearHugsAndGratitude #100PercentPreventable #ChoicesMatter."
We're glad everyone is safe and we wish both Ata and Lina a quick recovery.
