Who's that girl? It's...Zooey Deschanel, and she's got a handsome fella in tow!
The New Girl star wasn't shy Saturday about cozying up to Jacob Pechenik, one of the producers of her next film, Rock the Kasbah. The twosome held hands, walked arm in arm and kissed sweetly as they spent some time out and about in L.A.'s Venice Beach area.
The Rock the Kasbah pair, who could just be friendly co-workers, were flirty when they hung out earlier this month, too. Zooey and Jacob grabbed a bite to eat at Café Aroma in Studio City, where, according to an eyewitness, they were "definitely acting like a couple." This apparently which included Jacob "feeding her blueberries" and the duo "holding hands across the table."
But don't get too excited, kids. While the 34-year-old actress isn't going to any great lengths to hide her apparent PDA with Mr. Pechenik, she's probably not going to be tweeting him sweet nothings or professing her love in magazine interviews anytime soon.
Because? "You have to be careful what you reveal," the private star explained in InStyle's August 2014 issue. "You invite people in and can't kick them out."
Interesting theory. Previously, Zooey was linked to screenwriter Jamie Linden, whom she began dating shortly after her divorce to Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard was finalized in 2012.
