5 Seconds of Summer's Ashton Irwin Tweets About His "Boner" at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards

Was 5 Seconds of Summer's Ashton Irwin a little too excited at Sunday's 2014 Teen Choice Awards?!

During yesterday's show, the band accepted their surfboard award in a pre-recorded video that showed the four rockers wearing only bath towels wrapped around their waists. Some fans noticed that Irwin seemed to have an unusual bulge protruding from beneath his towel around his crotch.

While we're not really sure what was going on with the 20-year-old's towel, Irwin took to Twitter last night to react to the Internet chatter about his "boner."

"Apparently I had a boner in the acceptance video..." Irwin wrote, followed by, "I love you guys, thanks for everything you do for us, fighting for us, following us, and supporting the music."

In their acceptance speech video, 5SOS thanked fans for honoring them with not one, but two awards.

"Hi, we're 5 Seconds of Summer and we're terribly sorry we couldn't be there tonight," Irwin says in the clip. "But we wanted to say a big thank-you to our fans for voting for us for break Out Group and Group of the Summer," Irwin's bandmate added.

"And basically thank you to every single fan that's ever done anything at all for us," Irwin said. "We love you guys so much, and basically we are on tour at the moment in the shower."
