There is more than one way to parent a child (though, if you ask the Internet, there is only one way and if you do anything even remotely differently YOU ARE WRONG and A BAD MOTHER). That said, mom Eva Baker's steps to soothe her crying daughter are pretty standard...
1. Gently bounce your crying baby in a soothing fashion. Hold your baby against your body for comfort and a sense of security. Check that she is neither wet nor hungry.
2. Take your baby for a ride in the car. The car's motion can be calming to some babies.
And if all else fails...
3. CRANK THAT KATY PERRY! TURN UP, TURN UPPPPPP. THIS IS BABY'S JAM!!!
The latter of which is what worked for this baby, who CANNOT get enough "Dark Horse."
